JP Silent Captured Spring

The JP Silent Captured Spring Systems are manufactured exclusively for Maxim Defense Industries to work with the Maxim Defense CQB Stock System. Choose from the standard/carbine weight, heavy weight and 9mm weight Silent Captured Spring Systems. The JP Silent Captured Spring Systems require an open channel in your bolt carrier group assembly for the guide rod to pass during fire.

Note: DO NOT MODIFY A BCG TO MAKE IT COMPATIBLE. DO NOT REMOVE THE WEIGHT FROM 9MM BCG’S. JP DOES NOT RECOMMENDED FOR SELECT FIRE.

NOTE: There are many variables to consider when selecting the correct buffer for your firearm. You should consult an experienced gunsmith for advice. It is your responsibility to reference and comply with all Federal, State, and Local Laws.

Maxim Stocks and Pistol Braces (excluding the CCS) ship with a Standard 3.3oz buffer that is well suited for most configurations.
If you are uncertain of what buffer weight to choose, contact your firearm or barrel manufacturer.
If you are in the process of replacing your current stock or pistol brace, knowing the weight of your current buffer can help in the selection of a Maxim product.
